BAY LAKE, Fla. – Just months before Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off, Disney is sharing new details on its popular fall event.

This year, the separate ticketed event at Magic Kingdom begins on Aug. 15 and runs select nights through Oct. 31.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, offerings include exclusive entertainment, Halloween-themed food and beverages, photo opportunities, exclusive merchandise, character greetings, and plenty of trick-or-treating.

At Town Square Theater, Mickey and Minnie will, for the first time, greet guests together in their Halloween costumes. Guests can also expect Disney Villains to roam the streets throughout the evening.

Guests meeting the Pumpkin King are in for a bit of a surprise. Disney shared video of Jack Skellington and Sally in Monday’s Not-So-Scary announcement, with Jack sporting a different facial look compared to years past.

Don’t miss Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, which will again take place at 8:15 p.m. to allow plenty of time for little ones to enjoy the celebration, plus a later time at 11:15 p.m.

Disney also said to expect a new dance party with the music and moves of “Zombies 4” and certain attractions will be getting a “Halloween treatment.”

In addition to festive candy apples and popcorn guests can always find in the park, chefs are plotting and planning a new menu of specialty Halloween food and drink for even the most frightening of appetites. (Disney Parks)

Disney will also release a foodie guide menu at a later time.

And of course, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show and the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show will be back.
